Or maybe that philosophy only works on people like me that make an electronics purchase quite often. Wait, scratch that, I guess I was describing myself before I got into freebies. w00t.gif

And all of my friends that used to work at BB and CC told me that the warranties are a good idea, but most people never use them so thats where they made their money from. And if they didn't sell that many warranties, the man would be on 'em.

and its beautiful!!!

yea sam, if it says theyre in stock, they're going to have them - dont bother calling at all, I missed out on 3 different best buys last week when they had them in stock, because I couldnt verify that any of them actually had any. After calling for 30 minutes they ended up saying "oh we had 4 premiums and 2 cores, but theyre all gone now". Nearest BB is 30 minutes so I didn't want to waste the trip. Good luck getting one!

at our store, we were encouraged to sell them, but not forced. As to the $20 warranty on a 100 videogame system. I felt that when cheap mice were sold ($5-$15), it was extremely hard to sell the replacement plan on them (usually $10 i think)

All you do is put in your zip code and it comes up with all the stores in the area that have 360's (Bold means they are in stock and light grey means they are out)

thnx for the tip...but i prefer the www.untitlednet.com installer thingy b/c that sends a TEXT MESSAGE and an EMAIL...
so i dont have to keep checking.. biggrin.gif
but i can use that link for when i am not at home...and need to quickly check. thumbsup.gif

i used the untitlednet thingy...
and wen i woke up....i scanned...and it picked one up....
i got the 2nd to last PREMIUM...
they had 20 360s
i picked it up around 1
AND
i got the 2 yr warante!!! thumbsup.gif

but now ...i owe my dad $120 hehe.......he paid that much...
i paid the rst with the CASH i got from YFVI ($300) and a little bit of savings
so wen the $400 check from TRAINN comes...
$120 goes back to my dad...$50 back to the savings...
and the REST goes towards games!
im soooooo happy...
im gon go play it

(though...al i have right now is halo 2 from my original xbox . hopefilly that wont be for long after i get the $400 check in the mail)

Congrats Samz, glad to hear it worked out for you smile.gif It said there were a few in stock near me, but I've got too many midterms right now.
