ok ok, maybe not that bad but, ok so ive got windows server 2003, ive got directx and sound acceleration.
i head over to windows game advisor and it says i have 'DirectX Version 6.0' under my specs
i open dxdiag and it says DirectX version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
i install fifa 2003 and install it and when i go run it it says i need directx 8.1 or higher, so i just launch the installer, which when i go to install it just blanks and exit after the section with the EULA

HOW CAN I FIX THIS?

Did you try uninstalling DirectX, rebooting, then reinstalling?

from what i know, uninstalling can cause problems
so no, i havent done it

A celeron d with a 256mb radeon 9250 pwns a p4 with intel graphics so bad
