ABC has just launched free (ad-supported) online episodes for 7 of their shows. (Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Lost, Ugly Betty, Six Degrees, the Nine and the Knights of Prosperity) I first took notice of this when I saw their ad on top of our forums. (Good place to advertise it)

So here’s the deal … if you didn’t catch the new episode of Lost and you are without Tivo, ABC has your back. According to their ad, you can watch the full episode the day after the show is aired.

When viewing, there are a couple ads but they only last about 30 seconds and then you are back to your show. Not too shabby. I see many other networks following this example. If you can reach eye balls, what does it matter if you do it online or off? What do you think?
