Nanos and News from the 4NoCash Network

iPodNano.4NoCash.com saw its debut about 4 days ago now. At this time, at least one A4f user has already received, their Ipod Nano from this site, so it’s high time we underline the newest member of the 4NoCash family here.
Most of you are familiar with the quite recent acquisition of the 4NoCash Network and the controversy that ensued as well as some surprising moves from the new owner that were quite unpopular. We had the chance to speak with Mike about this and get his feedback on many of those issues…
Alexander: Mike, thank you for taking the time to share with us tonight. First off, I’d like to congratulate you on launching your newest site iPodNano.4NoCash.com. Can you tell us a bit more about it?
Mike: I’m glad to be here. iPod Nano is the first of three new sites we plan to debut over the next couple of months. We’re offering the iPod Nano 4 GB in white or black, or a PayPal $225 payment, for 7 referrals. On top of the standard trial offers, there are gambling and hosting available on which users get «cash back». Most of the offers are instant too.
Alexander: We would expect nothing else from the «instant offer leader». Back in August you acquired the 4NoCash Network. You made some changes that were necessary to ensure the network’s continuation. However these changes made a lot of users unsatisfied. Now that the transition is complete and the dust has fallen, what can you tell us about it?
Mike: I was reluctant to make the changes. However I was not compensated for the users’ old credits when I took over the network. These credits were paid out of my investment into the network. The investment, plus the new inflow from offer completions have kept the WifiMusic and MiniCool sites at a break even point while older users finish off their requirements. Despite most older users having finished, I plan to keep the requirements where they are. Josh’s requirements were not profitable. Too many people completed the site and got a gift, and he took a loss on each gift. The new requirements are structured so that we break even or profit slightly even if a gift is sent. This ensures the future of the network as we don’t have a negative cash flow.
Alexander: A couple of weeks ago, you went ahead with some decisions that were quite unpopular and were ultimately reversed, such as the banning of congas for your network. Can you tell us briefly what motivated you to implement those changes?
Mike: Most leads on incentive sites do not convert into sales; that is, the vast majority of people who get a free trial of a weight loss supplement or an online DVD service do not ultimately keep the auto-ship program or service. My belief was that leads from congas and trading were more likely to be cancelled and/or exhibit fraud, however, I was unprepared for the backlash. Ultimately, it can’t really be known if congas or trading generate bad leads, and I decided not to bear that burden. If they choose to “incentivize” their program, then they choose to accept the risks associated with doing so. As long as we are paid for a lead and that lead was not completed fraudulently, it is considered to be a good lead.
Alexander: Where do you see the freebie industry a year from today, and where will 4NoCash be?
Mike: I predict some advertisers dropping out of incentive advertising. It is inevitable. However, I can also see some new companies entering the field, but they won’t be the huge brands like we have now. Most of the smaller sites (non-networks) will probably merge or close. 4NoCash will be there, and we hope to develop innovative new ideas to deliver leads and gifts and to stay ahead of the pack.
Alexander: If you could say something to your users and A4f members in general, what would it be?
Mike: Some of the decisions we made did not meet with the reaction we anticipated, and I offer my apologies to those who may have been affected. 4NoCash Network strives to maintain a high standard of quality and I encourage you to give us a try. I’m sure you’ll be pleased with our Instant credit offers and new fast shipping initiative.
Alexander: Mike, thank you for taking the time to address some of these difficult questions. Best of luck with your new site.
We should have more news concerning the 4NoCash Network over the next couple of weeks, as hot new gadget video Ipod will warrant its own window on the world and other new sites are in the works.
