Here are some quick Editing Tips which will make editing and formatting this wiki easier.

Getting Started

This Wiki can be edited by anyone! All you need is a username for our forums which you can use to sign in here! Once logged in, simply click "edit" from the top tabs and start editing!

Headings

Level 1 Headings use this text: "= Level 1 Headings ="

Level 2 Subsection Headings use this text: "== Level 2 Headings ==="

Level 3 Smaller Subsection Headings use this text: "=== Level 3 Headings ==="

Redirecting To Another Page

Use this text: "#REDIRECT [[pagename]]"

Images

Pick an image you want to link to and use this text: "[IMG]image link here[/IMG]"

Aligning Text

To center text on the page
Simply use this text: "<center>Yay, centered text here</center>"

To left align the text on the page
Simply use this text: "<left>Yay, left text here</left>"

To right align the text on the page
Simply use this text: "<right>Yay, right text here</right>"

Line Break

Add this text where you want to add a line break (it's like hitting the "Enter" key): "<br>"

Or just hit the enter key twice, leaving a blank line where you want the break.

External Link Display Options

There are three ways to display external links:

1. Anything4Free.com[1]
       uses this text: "Text to be displayed[http://www.url.com]"
2. Anything4Free Homepage
       uses this text: "[http://www.url.com Text to be displayed]"
3. Simple URL: http://www.anything4free.com
       uses this text: "http://www.url.com"


Section Links

You can link to a page section by its title:

If multiple sections have the same title, add a number. #Example section 3 goes to the third section named "Example section".

You can link to a page section by its title:

*[[List of cities by country#Morocco]].

If multiple sections have the same title, add a number. [[#Example section 3]] goes to the third section named "Example section".

Text Box

There are two ways to display text boxes:

This is one example. It is achieved by adding ONE (or more) SPACES before the beginning of the line.
This is another example. It is achieved by adding the following text:

"<div style="width: 90%; border: 1px solid #b5b5b5; color: #000; background-color: #fafafa; padding-left: 5px; padding-top: 10px;">"


Lists

Unordered Lists

  • Unordered lists are easy to do:
    • Start every line with a star.
      • More stars indicate a deeper level.
    Previous item continues.
    • A newline
  • in a list

marks the end of the list.

  • Of course you can start again.

Ordered Lists

  1. Numbered lists are:
    1. Very organized
    2. Easy to follow

A newline marks the end of the list.

  1. New numbering starts with 1.

Mixed Lists

  • You can even do mixed lists
    1. and nest them
    2. inside each other
      • or break lines
        in lists.
      definition lists

*#* or break lines
in lists. *#; definition lists *#: can be *#:; nested : too


Blockquotes

We use 1 colon to indent once.
We use 2 colons to indent twice.
3 colons to indent 3 times, and so on.
: We use 1 colon to indent once.
:: We use 2 colons to indent twice.
::: 3 colons to indent 3 times, and so on.
