User Started Trades - Your Trade Thread

Creating a Trade Thread

This portion will inform you on how to start a trade thread and follow through with a trade.

  1. Figure out what site you want to finish
  2. Decide what you want to offer for somebody to finish your site
  3. Go to the appropriate section in the Anything4Free trading section.
  4. Create a thread in one of the sections and be sure to include the following:
    • What site do you want to complete?
    • What you are offering?
    • What sites can you or can't you do (if it is referral for referral)?
    • How do you want to be contacted?
  5. Create your thread, and wait for responses. IMPORTANT NOTE: You are allowed to "bump" your thread to the front page every six hours. If you bump it sooner, you will be warned and possibly banned.
  6. When you are contacted by somebody that wants to trade, there are a few things to consider:
    • Is the trade beneficial to you? Will you earn anything from the trade?
    • Does the person have a higher TR than you?
      • If so, are you willing to go through your end of the deal first?
    • Does the person seem sketchy? Have they just joined?
    • Are they willing to go first if they have a lower TR?
  7. Go through your part of the deal, either before or after the other person depending on TR. Remember to keep good communication. If you or the person you are trading with stops communicating, you or they may be reported to the Trader Complaints Section.
  8. When you both finish your trade, don't forget to leave each other TR, either negative or positive depending on how your trade went.

Initiating a Trade - Responding to a Trade Thread

The section will inform you of the proper etiquette in responding to a trade thread and finishing a trade.

  1. Browse through the different trading sub-forums and look for a thread that is offering to trade something that you need/want (ie: a site, money, or other).
  2. Read through the thread carefully and look for any details you may have missed. If you agree with all of the conditions, start writing a PM.
  3. In the PM, be sure to include the following:
    • Reference the thread that the user wrote, so it won't be taken as PM spam.
    • What site/money/other you are willing to trade.
    • Contact infomation
  4. Remember to always keep in touch. If you or the person you are trading with stops communicating, either one of you may be reported to the Trader Complaints Section.
  5. Go through your part of the deal, either before or after the other person depending on TR. Remember to keep good communication. If you or the person you are trading with stops communicating, you or they may be reported to the Trader Complaints Section.
