Why was my Wiki entry deleted?
Answer: Entries are deleted for a variety of reasons, such as:
- It was a duplicate of an already existing page
- It was not relevant to the Wiki
- It was considered spam
- It was biased
I edited an article, but then it was undone. What's up with that?
Answer: Sometimes the author of an article has a specific purpose for the article, and the edit does not follow this purpose. Other times, it might be a formatting edit that is being undone because the A4F Staff want to keep things in a certain order/format for a specific reason. If this happens to you, please feel free to ask the Moderator who undid your edit for an explanation. Also, please try not to redo the same edit repeatedly; doing so will result in loss of Wiki editing privileges.
Who moderates the Wiki?
Answer: The A4F Staff moderates the Wiki. A Wiki Mod Team also exists, so if you would like to join this team, help the staff out as much as possible (without being annoying!) and you may be considered for the team if/when more help is needed.
What happens to people who break too many Wiki Rules?
Answer: Users who break too many rules in the Wiki (such as unnecessary editing, deleting entries, abusive use, posting inappropriate content, ignoring Mod warnings, etc.) will be suspended or banned from being able to edit the Wiki.
In addition, users may also suffer consequences on the forums via being warned, suspended, and/or banned from Anything4Free.com altogether.
