Green refers to the visual status of a referral who has successfully completed an offer/offers and has received credit for it/them. Going "green" was termed because referral status' would initially start out appearing yellow in color, and would turn green when they had completed an offer and received credit for it.

If a referral has gone "green", this usually means that he/she is now eligible towards the referrer's freebie. This also means that the referral who went 'green' is now eligible to start referring for their own gift, however, most sites don't require greens before seeking referrals.

On different sites, it takes different amounts of offers to go "green", and doing one offer is not necessarily enough to go "green".

In some cases however, a 'green' can turn into a 'red'.
