The term "suspended" is used to refer to someone who is temporarily not welcome to access a site as a result of breaking rules. Suspensions can last from a few minutes to several days or weeks, depending on the offense(s). Suspensions can also lead to being banned.

Why might a user be suspended?

A user may be suspended from A4F for reasons such as: 

 Disrespectful posting behavior
 Continuous breaking of rules
 Spam (in posts or via PM's)
 Ignoring A4F Staff warnings
 Posting illegal or inappropriate content
